There is no place like the family cottage. Fresh air, clear water, and a chance to catch up with family from across the miles.
Most of us get our blueberries from the grocery store or farmers’ market. This year I had the pleasure of picking my own deep in the woods of Northwestern Ontario. Armed with bug spray & buckets, we ventured up the cabin road, found the perfect rock and assumed the “crouch” blueberry-picking position. Everywhere I turned there were more and more – what an experience!
It’s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood, a beautiful day for a neighbour…would you be mine? The rain had moved out, the sun was shining and the kids were excited to explore a new neighbourhood and take an adventure with their new friends.
What can be more tragic than the loss of a 2 year old boy due to a tornado? But Lucas Holtom’s parents and church family have channeled their grief into a celebration of their little boy’s life and invite the Brampton community to enjoy a free carnival on July 12, 2014!
