This is one of those recipes where substitution is allowed. I've made it with ground beef which is just as good, and instead of a jar of store-bought sauce, I've added my own, which is better any day. If you look closely at this picture, you'll see I even used coloured pasta!
Boil pasta, cook sausage, Put sausage, pasta & sauce together and bring to a boil in skillet.
Pour half into baking dish, spread with cottage cheese then mozerella cheese, then meat mixture and remaining cheese. Cover, bake 25 mins 350degrees until bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes and devour!
