Our families were kept very busy enjoying all the crafts, activities, demos, music, photos, treats and MORE!
These are the programs offered to momstown Brampton passholders and the sponsors who supported them:
Art & Play
What better way to learn about art than getting our faces transformed into awesome masterpieces. Pockets Parties then entertained a huge crowd with her interactive Magic Show and had the audience captivated.
Royal LePage Vendex Realty teamed up with the Kidzz to Kidz club & offered blocks to build the house of your dreams and a fun Easter egg hunt where everyone was a winner.
Children decorated Easter chicks while chatting with Dr Maria. Take your health matters into your own hands with guidance from Nature’s Touch Naturopath Clinic.
Science and Discovery
Dr Reema from Bramalea Optometric Clinic chatted with parents about the importance of eye exams for the whole family and all had playing fun trying on glasses at the sensory station.
Educatus offered the opportunity for children to explore science and expand their minds with thought provoking experiments. Their curriculm enhances core skills in children & sets them up for school success.
Fitness & Adventure
Making Waves Swim School – not only is swimming fun, it’s good for us and an easy way to stay fit. After all, it’s a lifelong skill and Buckles helps introduce the kids to their warm waters in a small classroom sizes.
Music & Movement Music
Our Music and Movement programs keep our kids singing, dancing and having fun. Kids had a blast creating their own musical shakers at the Maple Leaf Music Together booth then Miss Sarah got us shaking our sillies out in a fun sing-along.
Literacy
Scholastic Canada supports our Tales for Tots, Baby Bookclub, Alphabet Play, and Contes pour le bouts d'choux programs and we were honoured to have Clifford the Big Red Dog pose for so many photos.
Nutrition
Our Junior Chef program gets our little ones playing with their food and trying out new tastes. Dhillon Nutrition provided refreshing smoothies and taught everyone how to add a variety of healthy fruits and veggies to the mix.
Judging by the messy faces and sticky fingers, the Cupcake Decorating Station by Fortino’s Supermarket was a huge hit! While cupcakes may not be entirely nutritious, what's a party without some sugar, right?
Having a sip of tea was a refreshing break and Monika from Steeped Tea knew how to keep the guests hydrated with tastes out of this world!
Prenatal/Postnatal
Parents stood in line at the Wee Watch booth in order to get information on private daycare. Returning to work is made easier when parents know their little one is in a loving and nurturing home environment.
Nissan Airport teamed up with St John Ambulance to give parents a mini lesson on car seat restraints when it comes to installing their child's car seat. The Nissan Rogue is the perfect size family car and parents were able to sit in the driver’s seat and see for themselves!
Play and Social
Jellybeenz Indoor Play & Party Centre arranged for the Easter Bunny to hop on by and although they couldn’t stay long, momstown passholders will be visiting Jellybeenz soon. It was great to have Shannon & the KX947 Cruiser come by to broadcast the event and she couldn't resist a photo op!
We hilighted the letter M for MOMSTOWN at the Alphabet Play table
And we let babies wow us with their keepsake art at our Baby Picasso station
There were lots of happy sounds coming from our very own little ones at the Fisher Price Little People Big Discoveries toy zone. Fisher Price knows play is very important and develops creativity and imagination in children. There was plenty of unstructured playtime with the LP Fun Sounds Farm, Happy Sounds Home, Little Princess Klip Klop Stable and more!
The 9 piece Ventura by Walmart Canada tent let kids explore and pretend they were camping, even if they weren't by a lake. The Door Prizes were numerous…2 sets of tents, with lawn chairs, sleeping bags and guaranteed fun whether you're at a campsight or just in your back yard!
The Brampton Mompreneurs were represented by Trish and her team, and fun crafting stations were provided by Clare at Arbonne, Monika at Steeped Tea and, Sheila at Thirty One Gifts.
Door Prizes were plentiful and the gift bags were brimming with gifts, coupons and special offers from the following local merchants: Regal Greetings and Gifts, Wee Piggies & Paws, More Fun With Bounce, Downey’s Farm, Mommy & Baby Fitness, Rissmama’s Tutus, Avon, Spirit of Math, Slimming Club, Norwex, White Elephant Family Health, Wee Cycled & South Hill Designs.
Huge thanks to Trish Beesley Photography and her team for taking such sweet family photos and getting Clifford to sit still long enough to pose with the children.
Our event was a feast for the eyes with Brown Sugar Interior Services – I was stunned with the masterpieces Sharon created! What an amazing welcome!
This event would not have been possible without the high school students from Volunteering in Peel Organization and momstown mamas and momstown team – THANKS EVERYONE!!
