For as long as I can remember, every Christmas Eve my mom would read me and my sister “The Night Before Christmas”. When I had my little guy, I made a promise to myself and to him that I would read it every Christmas as well.
After spending the morning with my new Brampton mom friends at momstown Brampton Tales for Tots event and creating Santa masks and foam stocking decorations for the Christmas tree, I was given the opportunity to share the Christmas magic by reading Barbara Reid’s The Night Before Christmas, not only to my little guy, but to all his friends as well.
The book was a hit! All these little eyes focused on the mice all snuggled in bed, while my little guy slowly creeped forward to get a better view! Needless to say, I took a trip to Chapters that afternoon to get myself a copy of
Hopefully little Juliette, our Scholastic book club winner, will be read the Night Before Christmas for as long as she can remember.
