Driving along the Credit River is a favourite among local folks and makes for an enjoyable afternoon outing. Take Hwy 10 north of Brampton and head west at The Forks of the Credit Road. Be warned, people come from far and wide and the traffic can get very congested on the weekends. Belfountain, Hockley Valley, Blue Mountain and Collingwood all make for a easy day trip to see the changing of the leaves.
If you want to work off some of those turkey dinners and pumpkin pies, check out the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park Hike.
Be sure to stop at the Cheltenham Badlands (if you can get close, that is)
According to the Credit Valley Conservation website, fall is now in full swing!
Fall Colour Update on October 14, 2014:
Terra Cotta Conservation Area – 75% of our leaves have changed
Belfountain Conservation Area – 85% of our leaves have changed
