Did you know that dinosaurs have manners? They share and take turns with their friends as we learned from the book: “How Do Dinosaurs Play With Their Friends”
After singing our ABC’s, we sang songs about other “D” words such as:
How Much is That Doggy in the Window, and
Five Little Ducks Went Out to Play…and then we sang a crowd favourite:
The Dino Pokey:
You put your right claw in, you take your right claw out
You put your right claw in and you shake it all about
You do the DINO pokey and you turn yourself around
That’s what it’s all about!
Repeat with teeth, tail and give a giant roar at the end!
The children created their fierce looking dinosaurs as they knew that Post Alpha-Bits Cereal is a sponsor and they were getting a tasty treat after all their hard work. Moms love Post Alpha-Bits because they make a convenient & nutritious snack when they’re busy at momstown events.
Our July theme is Bears so join us next month for another animal based Alphabet Play, sponsored by Post Alpha-Bits Cereal!
